Cat investigator Blacksad looks purrrfect in his return with They All Fall Down
The iconic anthropomorphic crime noir comic series Blacksad returns in 2022 with the first of a many-sided story. The original creators, author Juan Díaz Canales and artist Juanjo Guarnido, are back for their sixth volume, Blacksad: They All Fall Down Part 1.
Septenar years since his closing story, Greater New York City detective John Blacksad is back - and his latest gig is protecting the president of a local anaesthetic workers organised that has been infiltrated by the mafia. At the same fourth dimension, Blacksad and the City are watching as a construction magnate named Solomon is in the midst of remake NYC in his persona - along his terms, or else.
"We took our stirring from private eye John Blacksad and some of his investigations. He's a prima figure in Greater New York, even if He prefers to ride out out of the spotlight," Canales says in the promulgation.
"The work of Dashiell Hammett introduced lots of new readers to awkward-poached detective fabrication. We consider ourselves to be portion of this tradition, and after five volumes ended two decades, our readers birth followed us all step of the mode, which gives U.S.A immense delight."

The English edition of Blacksad: They Altogether Fall Knock down wish debut in summer 2022 through Dark Horse Comics. The second character is planned for a 2023 release.
